Axle Options

So a Dana 60 front end is out of my price range for now. My dad has an83 3/4 ton suburban 10 bolt front 14 bolt ff rear. In your opinionwould it make sense for me to run these axles for now and see if I comeacross a dana 60 front end at some point. Or fix the Dana 44s for nowand just wait til I find a set of 1 ton axles and do it all at once. Imon the fence right now not really sure what would make the mostsense....

So my options are:
Swap in a 10 bolt front and 14 bolt rear, run these until I find a front 60
Repair Dana 44 for now and wait until I find an affordable 60 and 14

10 bolt is shit.  Your max tire size for a 10 bolt with they way you wheel is a 33" unlocked.  D44's are actually a bit stronger then a 10 bolt.  You need to run at least a 37" tire for the 14b or youll be dragging it across everything.  Unless you can shave it.

Stick with your 44's until you can score 60/14b.
Why do the work twice and spend money to get the 10 bolt under it and youll still be in the same boat?
